# Admin overview

> Navigate the OttoRx ScriptPad pharmacy admin console and understand the dashboard.

The pharmacy admin console is your operations hub. Use the sidebar to move between areas. What you see depends on your role — technicians have a narrower set of navigation items than pharmacists and owners.

## Sidebar navigation

| Page            | Purpose                                                  |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Dashboard**   | Operational metrics, order pipeline, and recent activity |
| **Orders**      | Incoming and in-progress prescriptions                   |
| **Messages**    | Conversations with prescribers                           |
| **Formulary**   | Your compound catalog                                    |
| **Prescribers** | Provider accounts and invitations                        |
| **Patients**    | Patient records across prescribers                       |
| **Reports**     | Volume and performance reporting                         |
| **Team**        | Staff accounts, roles, and invitations                   |
| **Settings**    | Pharmacy configuration                                   |

  **Pharmacists** see all items above except **Team** and **Settings** are limited to owners. **Technicians** see Dashboard, Orders, Messages, and Patients only.

## Dashboard

The dashboard gives you a snapshot of pharmacy activity:

* **Total orders** and **pending orders** with week-over-week trends
* **Active prescribers** sending scripts through your portal
* **Average fulfillment time** across recent orders
* **Order pipeline** showing counts by status (Received, Compounding, Ready, Shipped)
* **Order volume chart** for the last 14 days
* **Recent orders** and **activity feed** for quick follow-up

Click any order row to open its detail page.

## Pharmacy switcher

If you belong to more than one pharmacy, use the pharmacy switcher at the top of the sidebar to change context. All data — orders, patients, formulary — scopes to the active pharmacy.

## Search

The header search bar lets you quickly find orders, patients, and prescribers across your active pharmacy.
